Celebrating Creativity and Achievement
We were delighted to celebrate with one of our residents as he attended a graduation ceremony after completing a course with Hillingdon ALDD, which provides adult education opportunities for people with learning disabilities and difficulties.
As part of the Get Creative programme, he completed Art Lab - Experimental Art, where he explored different techniques and effects to create his own artwork. The course gave him the opportunity to develop new skills, express his creativity and take pride in what he achieved.
This follows his earlier success on an upcycling art sculpture course, where he learned how everyday recyclable materials, including water bottles, food packaging and old magazines, could be transformed into imaginative pieces of art.
Attending the graduation ceremony was a proud moment and a wonderful way to recognise his commitment and creativity. At Parvy Homes, we encourage residents to explore their interests, build confidence and take part in meaningful opportunities within the community.
